Russian drone strikes SBU headquarters in central Kyiv, targeting acting security chief's office — Zelensky orders retaliatory strike
A Russian drone struck the headquarters of Ukraine's Security Service in central Kyiv on 4 September, targeting the office of acting chief Oleksandr Poklad. Five people were injured. President Zelensky said he instructed Poklad to prepare a mirror response, as the attack comes ahead of US mediation talks.
