Kherson

A Russian drone struck a bus in central Kherson on 27 August, injuring three people. The attack is part of a broader pattern of drone strikes on civilian transport, including ambulances, evacuation vehicles, and passenger trains, across southern and eastern Ukraine since late August.

Russian forces struck a Kherson bus, a volunteer evacuation vehicle in Zaporizhzhia, and a passenger train in September 2026, injuring multiple civilians. The pattern shows a deliberate escalation of drone attacks on civilian transport far from front lines.
